평창군지역교육행정협의회 개최

평창교육지원청(교육장 #김금숙)과 평창군(군수 #심재국)은 11월 17일(월) 평창교육지원청 2층 대회의실에서 ‘2025년 평창군지역교육행정협의회’를 개최했다.

The Pyeongchang Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Geum-sook) and Pyeongchang County (Mayor Shim Jae-guk) held the “2025 Pyeongchang County Regional Education Administration Council” on Monday, November 17, at the main conference hall on the second floor of the Pyeongchang Office of Education.

평창군지역교육행정협의회는 교육지원청과 군청 간 교육 발전 정책의 연계·협력을 강화하고 지역 교육 기반 사업의 효율적 추진을 위해 마련된 협의 기구로, 김금숙 교육장과 심재국 군수가 공동의장을 맡고 있다.

The council serves as a cooperative body designed to strengthen policy coordination between the Office of Education and the county government, and to effectively promote regional education initiatives. Superintendent Kim Geum-sook and Mayor Shim Jae-guk serve as co-chairs.

이번 협의회에서는 △안전승하차구역 설치 △평창초등학교 수영장 운영비 지원 △온라인 자기주도 학습지원 사업 협업 등 다양한 교육 현안에 대한 협력 방안이 논의되었다.

During the meeting, the parties discussed collaboration on key issues including: establishing safe drop-off and pick-up zones, supporting operational costs for the Pyeongchang Elementary School swimming pool, and cooperating on online self-directed learning support programs.

#심재국 평창군수는 “지역 교육의 질적 성장을 위해 교육지원청과 끊임없이 대화하고 협업하며, 교육 현안에 대한 실효성 있는 대응 방안을 지속적으로 모색해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

Mayor Shim Jae-guk stated, “We will continue to engage in ongoing dialogue and cooperation with the Office of Education to ensure substantial and practical responses to local educational needs, and to enhance the quality of education in the region.”

#김금숙 교육장은 “평창군과의 지속적인 소통을 통해 다양한 교육 현안에 대한 협조 체제를 더욱 강화하고, 지역 교육 발전을 위한 실질적인 성과를 이끌어낼 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 말했다.

Superintendent Kim Geum-sook added, “We will further strengthen collaborative systems with Pyeongchang County through continuous communication and do our utmost to achieve meaningful outcomes for the advancement of local education.”
