제57주기 이승복 추모식 및 통일 염원 음악회 개최

평창교육지원청 김금숙 교육장은 10월 16일(목) 오후 2시, 평창군 용평면 노동리에 위치한 이승복기념관에서 ‘제57주기 이승복 추모식’을 거행하였다.

On October 16 (Thu) at 2 p.m., Kim Geum-sook, Superintendent of the PyeongChang Office of Education, held the 57th Memorial Ceremony for the late Lee Seung-bok at the Lee Seung-bok Memorial Hall in Nodong-ri, Yongpyeong-myeon, PyeongChang-gun.

이번 추모식은 故 이승복 군의 얼을 기리고 조국 분단의 비극을 거울삼아 자유민주주의 수호 및 평화통일의 의지를 확산하기 위해 마련되었다.

The ceremony was organized to honor the spirit of the late Lee Seung-bok, reflect upon the tragedy of Korea’s division, and reaffirm the nation’s commitment to freedom, democracy, and peaceful reunification.

행사에는 강원특별자치도교육청 인성생활교육과 장학사를 비롯해 유족대표 故 이승복 군의 친형 내외분, 평창군 인재육성과장, 강원동부보훈지청장, 교육지원청 교육장, 월정사 원행스님 등과 관내 유관기관단체장, 주민, 관람객 등 총 60여 명이 참석하였다.

The event was attended by more than 60 participants, including an official from the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education, the bereaved family represented by Lee’s elder brother and his wife, the Director of the PyeongChang Human Resources Development Division, the Head of the Gangwon Eastern Veterans Affairs Office, the Superintendent of Education, Ven. Wonhaeng of Woljeongsa Temple, as well as local organization leaders, residents, and visitors.

추모식은 조총행사, 추모사, 추모시 낭송, 헌화 및 분향, 이승복노래 제창 순으로 엄숙하게 진행되었다.

The ceremony solemnly proceeded with a rifle salute, memorial address, recitation of a memorial poem, offering of flowers and incense, and the singing of the “Lee Seung-bok Song.”

이어 오후 3시부터 ‘팝페라와 함께하는 통일 염원 음악회’가 열려 지역주민과 함께하는 문화·예술의 장으로, 평화통일에 대한 공감과 염원을 확산시키는 뜻깊은 시간이 되었다.

At 3 p.m., a “Unification Wish Concert with Popera” followed, providing a meaningful cultural and artistic venue for local residents to share their hopes and aspirations for peaceful reunification.

#김금숙 교육장은 “이승복 군은 어린 나이에도 불구하고 나라를 위한 굳건한 신념과 용기를 보여주었다.”며 “그의 희생은 자유와 평화의 가치를 되새기게 하고, 분단의 아픔을 기억하게 하는 소중한 울림으로 우리는 그 정신을 잊지 않고 이어가야 할 책임이 있다.”고 말했다.

Superintendent Kim stated, “Even at a young age, Lee Seung-bok showed unwavering conviction and courage for his country. His sacrifice reminds us of the enduring values of freedom and peace, and of the pain of division. It is our responsibility to remember and carry on his spirit.”
