강원도립대, 강원창조경제혁신센터와 지역 창업 인재 육성 협력

강원도립대학교(총장 최종균)와 강원창조경제혁신센터(대표이사 이해정)는 9월 29일(월), 강원창조경제혁신센터에서 지역 창업 생태계 조성과 창업 인재 양성을 위한 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.

On September 29 (Mon.), Gangwon Provincial University (President Choi Jong-gyun) and the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation (CEO Lee Hae-jung) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) at the Innovation Center to foster the local startup ecosystem and nurture entrepreneurial talent.

이번 협약은 강원도립대에서 운영하는 ▲강원RISE사업 ▲창업교육혁신선도대학사업 ▲창업보육센터사업 등 주요 창업지원 사업과 연계하여, 강원 영동지역 (예비)창업자 발굴과 지원, 그리고 창업 인재 육성을 위한 인적·물리적 인프라를 공유하는 데 목적이 있다.

The agreement aims to link key startup support programs run by the university — including the Gangwon RISE Project, Startup Education Innovation Leading University Program, and Startup Incubation Center — with the Innovation Center. The goal is to identify and support prospective entrepreneurs in the Yeongdong region while sharing human and physical infrastructure for fostering entrepreneurial talent.

양 기관은 대학의 교육·연구 역량과 인프라, 혁신센터의 창업지원 네트워크와 사업화 자원을 결합해 ▲전주기 창업지원 체계 마련 ▲창업자 맞춤형 공동 교육·멘토링 운영 ▲공유 오피스·메이커스페이스 등 창업 인프라 공동 활용 ▲지역 창업자와 투자자·기업을 연결하는 네트워킹 플랫폼 강화 등의 협력 사업을 추진할 계획이다.

The two institutions plan to combine the university’s educational and research capacity with the Innovation Center’s startup support network and commercialization resources. Their cooperation will focus on establishing a full-cycle startup support system, providing customized joint education and mentoring, sharing startup infrastructure such as co-working spaces and makerspaces, and strengthening networking platforms that connect local entrepreneurs with investors and businesses.

강원도립대학교 산학협력단 #최근표 단장은 “이번 협약을 통해 대학이 가진 역량을 지역 사회와 공유하고, 강원 영동지역의 창업 인재 발굴과 육성에 더욱 힘쓸 것”이라며 “지역 창업자들이 안정적으로 성장할 수 있는 기반을 마련하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Choi Geun-pyo, Head of the University-Industry Cooperation Foundation at Gangwon Provincial University, stated, “Through this agreement, we will share the university’s strengths with the local community and further dedicate ourselves to discovering and nurturing entrepreneurial talent in the Yeongdong region. We aim to establish a stable foundation for local entrepreneurs to grow.”

강원창조경제혁신센터 #이해정 대표이사는 “혁신센터는 지역 창업 생태계의 거점으로서 대학과 협력해 현장 중심의 창업지원 모델을 강화하겠다”며 “강원 영동지역을 창업 친화적 혁신 허브로 발전시키겠다”고 강조했다.

Lee Hae-jung, CEO of the Gangwon Center for Creative Economy & Innovation, remarked, “As a hub of the local startup ecosystem, the Innovation Center will strengthen field-centered support models in cooperation with the university. We will develop the Yeongdong region into an innovation hub that is friendly to entrepreneurs.”

양 기관은 협약 체결 이후 공동 발굴 프로그램을 신속히 추진하고, 연내 창업경진대회와 맞춤형 창업교육 과정을 운영할 계획이다. 또한 정기 협의체를 운영해 성과를 점검하고, 지역 창업 생태계 활성화를 위한 지속적 협력을 이어갈 방침이다.

Following the agreement, the two institutions will promptly launch joint discovery programs and organize a startup competition and tailored entrepreneurship training courses within the year. They also plan to operate a regular consultative body to review outcomes and sustain ongoing collaboration to revitalize the regional startup ecosystem.
