글로벌 유학생과 함께하는 특별한 춘천 시티투어

강원대학교 신입 외국인 유학생 400명이 참여한 춘천 시티투어가 눈길을 끌고 있다. 춘천시와 강원대는 새 학기를 맞은 유학생들에게 춘천의 매력을 체험하고 지역사회와 교류할 수 있는 기회를 마련했다.

A city tour in Chuncheon, joined by 400 new international students from Kangwon National University, has drawn attention. Chuncheon City and Kangwon National University organized the program to give the students a chance to experience the charm of the city and connect with the local community.

이번 프로그램은 유학생들이 춘천의 자연과 문화를 오감으로 느끼고 학업·생활 적응력을 높일 수 있도록 기획됐다. 투어는 오는 27일까지 총 8회 진행되며, 소양강 스카이워크·삼악산 케이블카·춘천국립박물관·붕어섬 에코투어 등 대표 관광지를 탐방한다. 저녁에는 풍물야시장을 찾아 지역 주민과 소통하는 시간도 마련됐다.

The program was designed to help students experience Chuncheon’s nature and culture while improving their adaptation to academic and daily life. Running through the 27th across eight sessions, the tour features visits to major attractions including Soyanggang Skywalk, Samaksan Cable Car, Chuncheon National Museum, and Bonguisum Eco Tour. In the evening, students will also visit the Pungmul Night Market to interact with local residents.

춘천시는 이번 시티투어를 통해 외국인 유학생들이 단순한 방문객이 아닌 지역사회와 함께하는 구성원으로 자리매김하기를 기대하고 있다. 또한, 춘천의 문화를 경험한 이들이 세계 곳곳에서 ‘춘천 홍보대사’ 역할을 할 것으로도 내다보고 있다.

The city hopes that this program will help international students establish themselves as members of the community, not just visitors. Officials also expect that by experiencing Chuncheon’s culture, the students will become “global ambassadors” who promote the city worldwide.

시 관계자는 “이번 시티투어가 유학생들에게 춘천의 따뜻한 분위기와 생활환경을 자연스럽게 전달하는 계기가 되길 바란다”며 “앞으로도 글로벌 인재들이 춘천에 머물고 정착할 수 있는 기반을 마련하겠다”고 말했다.

“We hope this city tour will naturally convey Chuncheon’s warm atmosphere and living environment to the students,” said a city official. “We will continue to build a foundation for global talents to stay and settle in Chuncheon.”
