강원도립대 외국인 유학생, 강릉시 일자리 박람회 현장 체험

지역 산업 이해와 진로 탐색 기회 제공 -

강원도립대학교(총장 최종균)는 9월 25일 강릉시에서 열린 「2025 강릉시 일자리 박람회」에 재학 중인 외국인 유학생 19명과 함께 참여했다.

Gangwon State University (President Choi Jong-gyun) participated in the “2025 Gangneung Job Fair” on September 25, accompanied by 19 international students enrolled at the university.

유학생들은 이번 박람회를 통해 지역 산업과 채용 정보를 확인하고, 다양한 전시·체험 프로그램에 참여하며 직무 이해와 기업문화를 직접 경험했다. 이를 바탕으로 각자 전공과 연계된 진로 방향을 보다 구체화하는 계기가 되었다.

The international students explored local industries and job opportunities, taking part in various exhibitions and hands-on programs that offered insights into job roles and corporate culture. This experience helped them clarify their career paths in connection with their academic majors.

호텔관광과 마이 티 투 후옌 학생은 관광산업 관련 기업 부스를 집중적으로 살펴보았고, 스마트해양양식과 다우 빈 꾸엉 학생은 지역 해양산업의 흐름을 이해하는 기회가 되었다고 말했다.

Mai Thi Thu Huyen, a student majoring in Hotel & Tourism, focused on companies related to the tourism industry, while Dau Vinh Cuong from Smart Marine Aquaculture noted that the fair provided valuable insights into the regional marine industry.

한편, 드론융합과 다우 탐 훙, 항만어촌매니지먼트과 응웬 티 투 우옌 학생은 학업과 자기계발, 도내 취업 준비에 대한 강한 의지를 드러냈다.

Meanwhile, Dau Tam Hung from Drone Convergence and Nguyen Thi Thu Uyen from Port & Coastal Community Management expressed strong determination in their academic pursuits, self-development, and preparation for local employment opportunities.

#최종균 총장은 “이번 박람회가 유학생들에게 현장 중심의 경험을 제공하고, 실질적인 진로 탐색 능력을 높이는 계기가 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 지역 산업과의 연계를 강화해 유학생들이 지역사회와 함께 성장할 수 있도록 지원하겠다”고 밝혔다.

President Choi Jong-gyun stated, “I hope this job fair provides international students with practical, field-oriented experiences that enhance their career exploration skills,” adding, “We will continue strengthening connections with local industries to support international students in growing together with the community.”
