2025 대관령음악제 기획공연 강원의 사계 , 소프라노 홍혜란·테너 최원휘 초청 무대

Final concert of “Seasons of Gangwon <Winter>” to feature soprano Hye-Ran Hong and tenor Won-Hwi Choi

강원문화재단(대표이사 신현상)은 9월 26일(금) 오후 2시부터 ‘2025 대관령음악제 강원의 사계 <겨울>’ 공연 티켓 판매를 시작한다.

The Gangwon Cultural Foundation (CEO Shin Hyun-sang) announced that ticket sales for the “2025 Great Mountains Music Festival – Seasons of Gangwon <Winter>” will open on Friday, September 26, at 2 p.m.

이번 공연은 11월 28일(금) 저녁 7시 양양군문화복지회관에서 열리며, ‘강원의 사계’ 시리즈의 마지막 무대로 정상급 성악가 부부 소프라노 홍혜란과 테너 최원휘가 출연해 감성적이고 깊이 있는 하모니로 무대를 꾸민다.

The concert will take place on Friday, November 28, at 7 p.m. at Yangyang County Culture and Welfare Center. As the final stage of the “Seasons of Gangwon” series, world-class vocalists, soprano Hye-Ran Hong and tenor Won-Hwi Choi, will present a deeply moving harmony.

강원 정선 출신 소프라노 홍혜란은 2011년 퀸 엘리자베스 콩쿠르 성악 부문에서 아시아인 최초 우승을 차지하며 국제적인 주목을 받았고, 이후 뉴욕 메트로폴리탄 오페라에 발탁되어 활약했다. 그녀는 아스펜 음악제, 뉴욕 링컨센터, 워싱턴 D.C. 케네디 센터, 서울시오페라단, 예술의전당 교향악축제, 평창대관령음악제 등 국내외 주요 무대에서 활발히 활동했으며, 현재 한국예술종합학교 교수로 후학을 양성하고 있다.

Soprano Hye-Ran Hong, originally from Jeongseon, Gangwon, gained international recognition in 2011 by becoming the first Asian to win the Queen Elisabeth Competition in voice. She later joined the Metropolitan Opera in New York and has since appeared at the Aspen Music Festival, Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as well as with the Seoul Metropolitan Opera, the Seoul Arts Center Symphony Festival, and the Great Mountains Music Festival. She currently teaches at the Korea National University of Arts.

테너 최원휘는 2013년 뉴욕 마르티나 아로요 파운데이션의 오페라 「호프만의 이야기」에서 주역을 맡으며 주목받기 시작했다. 이후 텍사스 앨파소 오페라, 독일 에르푸르트 극장, 뉴욕 시티 오페라단, 뉴욕 메트로폴리탄 오페라단 등에서 활동했고, 국내에서는 국립오페라단과 광주시립오페라단, 평창대관령음악제에 초청됐다. 2024-25 시즌에는 애틀랜타 오페라의 「맥베스」에서 맥더프 역으로 출연하는 등 국제 무대에서 활발한 활동을 이어가고 있다.

Tenor Won-Hwi Choi first attracted attention in 2013 when he starred in the Martina Arroyo Foundation’s production of The Tales of Hoffmann in New York. He has since performed with the El Paso Opera, Theater Erfurt in Germany, New York City Opera, and the Metropolitan Opera. In Korea, he has sung with the National Opera Company, the Gwangju City Opera, and the Great Mountains Music Festival. For the 2024–25 season, he appears as Macduff in Atlanta Opera’s Macbeth, continuing his international career.

두 성악가와 함께 무대에 오를 피아니스트 정태양은 밀라노 주세페 베르디 국립음악원과 라 스칼라 극장 아카데미를 졸업했으며, 라 스칼라 극장과 코모 시립극장, 뮌헨 히달고 페스티벌 등 해외 무대와 국내 주요 음악제에서 다양한 아티스트들과 협연해왔다.

Pianist Tae-Yang Jung, who will join the two vocalists, graduated from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Milan and the Teatro alla Scala Academy. He has collaborated with leading artists at Teatro alla Scala, Como City Theater, the Munich Hidalgo Festival, and in Korea at the Gyechon Classic Festival, The House Concert, Seil Korean Art Song Series, and the Great Mountains Music Festival.

이번 공연에서는 푸치니의 「잔니 스키키」 중 △‘사랑하는 나의 아버지’, 도니제티의 「사랑의 묘약」 중 △‘남몰래 흐르는 눈물’, △‘신비로운 묘약! 내 것이 되었네!’ 등 오페라 아리아와 함께, 윤학준의 △‘마중’, 김신의 연가곡 △‘님을 그리다’, 한국민요 △‘아리랑 연가’ 등 한국 가곡 무대가 선보인다.

The program includes Puccini’s “O mio babbino caro” from Gianni Schicchi, Donizetti’s “Una furtiva lagrima” and “L’esultar nell’ebbrezza” from L’elisir d’amore, along with Korean art songs such as Yoon Hak-jun’s “Majung”, Kim Shin’s song cycle “Longing for My Love” based on poems by Kim Sowol, and the folk-inspired “Arirang Rhapsody.”

티켓은 대관령음악제 누리집(mpyc.kr/tickets)과 인터파크(ticket.interpark.com)에서 예매할 수 있으며, 가격은 전석 3만 원이다. 강원도민, 학생, 장애인 및 국가유공자에게는 50% 할인(1인 2매 한정)이 제공된다. 문의는 평창대관령음악제운영실(033-240-1361)로 하면 된다.

Tickets are available at the festival website (mpyc.kr/tickets) and Interpark (ticket.interpark.com), priced at 30,000 KRW. A 50% discount (up to two tickets per person) is offered to Gangwon residents, students, people with disabilities, and national merit honorees.
