강원 보건환경연구원, 연구 업무 전문성 강화를 위한 ‘인공지능(AI) 활용 교육’ 실시

인공지능 도구의 실무 적용으로 연구 업무 향상 기대 -

Practical Application of AI Tools Expected to Enhance Research Work 

강원특별자치도 보건환경연구원은 9월 19일(금) 연구원 대회의실에서 전 직원을 대상으로 「인공지능(AI) 활용 교육」을 실시했다.

On September 19 (Friday), the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Institute of Health and Environment conducted an “AI Utilization Training” session for all staff members at the institute’s main conference hall.

이번 교육은 인공지능과 정보보안 분야 전문가인 원주 한라대학교 인공지능(AI)정보보안학과 이지연 교수를 초청하여, 빠르게 변화하는 연구환경과 최신 기술 발전에 대응하기 위해 인공지능 도구를 활용한 역량 강화에 목적을 두었다.

The training invited Professor Ji-Yeon Lee of the Department of AI & Information Security at Halla University in Wonju, an expert in artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. It aimed to strengthen staff competency in utilizing AI tools to keep pace with the rapidly changing research environment and the latest technological advancements.

주요 교육 내용은 ▲인공지능의 기본 개요 ▲산업별 인공지능 도구 활용 사례 ▲논문 작성에 유용한 인공지능 도구인 챗지피티(ChatGPT), 틀루토(Tlooto) 실습 ▲방대한 데이터 요약·분석에 특화된 클로드(Claude) 도구 실습 등으로, 최신 인공지능 도구 사용법을 익히고, 연구업무 활용 가능성을 확인했다.

Key topics included: ▲an introduction to the fundamentals of AI ▲case studies of AI tool applications across industries ▲hands-on practice with AI tools useful for academic writing such as ChatGPT and Tlooto ▲practical training with Claude, a tool specialized in summarizing and analyzing large datasets. Through these sessions, participants learned how to use the latest AI tools and explored their applicability in research work.

신인철 보건환경연구원장은 “보건·환경분야에서 생성되는 빅데이터를 인공지능 도구와 연계하여 도민에게 더 나은 서비스를 제공할 수 있도록 앞으로도 이러한 교육 기회를 확대해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

Shin In-cheol, Director of the Institute of Health and Environment, stated, “By linking the vast amounts of big data generated in the health and environment sectors with AI tools, we will be able to provide better services to our residents. We will continue to expand such training opportunities in the future.”
