Gangwon Life Science High School participated in the student training program at ALMA School in Italy, organized in cooperation with the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Office of Education and Chuncheon City Hall, from July 18 (Fri) to August 2 (Sat). On September 19 (Fri), the school will hold an evaluation session to share the outcomes of the training.
This training program was part of the Ministry of Education’s “Agreement-Type Specialized High School Project,” selected last year, and was fully supported by Chuncheon City and the school. Twelve students from the Café & Dessert Department and related minors participated, gaining a valuable opportunity to strengthen their practical skills in the bakery field through global cultural exchange and technical education.
Gangwon Life Science High School has signed an educational agreement with ALMA, located in Parma, a representative cultural city of Italy, and has been continuously pursuing global competency enhancement activities to nurture local talents. The evaluation session provides an opportunity to review the outcomes of the training and assess the students’ improvements in practical skills.
Principal Ji-Young Kim stated, “The training at ALMA in Italy was a meaningful opportunity for our students to enhance their practical competencies. We will continue to work together as an educational community to ensure such international training programs can be sustained in the future.”
