「2025년 대학과 함께하는 영재지도교원 직무연수」 운영 “제주의 자연과 문화 속에서 영재교육의 새로운 길을 찾다!”

강원특별자치도교육청(교육감 신경호)은 오는 8월 5일(화)부터 8월 8일(금)까지, 제주대학교 교육대학 부설교육연수원에서 ‘2025년 대학과 함께하는 영재지도교원 직무연수’를 운영한다. 대상은 강원도 내 초‧중등 영재교육을 담당하는 교사 및 교육전문직 30명이다.

Gangwon Special Self-Governing Provincial Office of Education (Superintendent Shin Kyung-ho) will host the 2025 University-Gifted Education Teacher Training Program from Tuesday, August 5 to Friday, August 8 at the Jeju National University College of Education’s affiliated training center. Thirty teachers and education professionals engaged in gifted education in elementary and middle schools will participate.

Real-World Gifted Education in Jeju

이번 연수는 유네스코가 지정한 제주의 자연과 생물권 보전지역을 중심으로, 자연‧문화 자원과 융합 수업을 체험하는 방식으로 진행된다. 이론이 아닌 현장에서 몸으로 배우는 프로그램으로, 교사들이 실제 수업에 적용할 수 있는 아이디어를 얻을 수 있도록 기획되었다.

This training program focuses on experiential learning based on Jeju's UNESCO-designated natural and cultural sites. Rather than classroom theory, the program emphasizes hands-on activities that equip teachers with practical, applicable strategies for real-world gifted education.

이 모든 프로그램을 이수하면 직무연수 1학점(20시간)도 인정받을 수 있다.

Participants will also earn one academic credit (20 hours) upon completion of the entire course.

Future Education Starts with Teachers

박성관 미래교육과장은 “이번 연수가 교사들에게 융합적 사고와 현장 중심의 영재교육에 대해 다시 한 번 고민하는 시간이 되길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 교사들의 성장을 돕는 맞춤형 연수를 지속적으로 추진하겠다”고 밝혔다.

Park Sung-kwan, Director of Future Education, remarked, “We hope this training gives teachers a valuable opportunity to reflect on field-based, integrative approaches to gifted education. We’ll continue offering tailored programs to support their professional growth.”

강원도교육청은 앞으로도 지역 자원과 연계한 체험형 영재교육 프로그램을 꾸준히 개발하여, 교사의 역량을 높이고 창의융합형 인재를 길러내는 데 주력할 계획이다.

The Gangwon Office of Education will continue developing locally-based, experiential gifted education programs to strengthen teacher competencies and nurture creative, interdisciplinary talent.
