국제태권도대회 자원봉사자 발대식 개최

춘천레저·태권도조직위원회가 4일 송암스포츠타운 에어돔에서 ‘2025 춘천국제태권도대회 자원봉사자 발대식’을 개최했다.

On July 4, the Chuncheon Leisure & Taekwondo Organizing Committee held the “2025 Chuncheon International Taekwondo Competition Volunteer Launch Ceremony” at the Songam Sports Town Airdome.

이번 발대식은 대회 운영을 함께할 자원봉사자와 지원 인력 100여 명이 처음 한자리에 모인 자리로 본격적인 활동의 시작을 알렸다.

This event marked the first official gathering of over 100 volunteers and support staff who will assist in operating the competition, signaling the beginning of full-scale volunteer activities.

참가자들은 직무별 실무 교육을 받고 에어돔 내부를 둘러보며 대피훈련 등 안전 교육도 함께 진행해 안전하고 체계적인 대회 운영을 다짐했다.

Participants received practical training based on their assigned roles and toured the Airdome, where they also underwent evacuation drills and safety education to ensure the safe and systematic operation of the event.

자원봉사자들은 대회 기간 동안 등록센터, 종합안내센터, 물자 운영 등 다양한 분야에 배치돼 원활한 경기 진행과 참가자 지원을 하게 된다.

During the competition period, volunteers will be assigned to various areas including the registration center, general information desk, and logistics operations, contributing to the smooth progression of matches and supporting participants.

조직위는 “이번 대회는 전 세계 태권도 선수들이 참여하는 국제적인 행사인 만큼 시민이 함께 만들어가는 참여형 대회 운영을 통해 태권도 도시 춘천의 위상을 한층 높일 것”이라고 밝혔다.

The organizing committee stated, “As this is an international event with Taekwondo athletes from around the world, we aim to enhance Chuncheon’s status as a Taekwondo city by operating a participatory event made together with citizens.”

한편 강원춘천2025 세계태권도문화축제와 2025 춘천코리아오픈국제태권도대회는 오는 7일부터 20일까지 14일간 열린다.

Meanwhile, the Gangwon Chuncheon 2025 World Taekwondo Culture Festival and the 2025 Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships will be held over 14 days from July 7 to 20.
