강릉시, 경포해수욕장 개장 대비 식품접객업소 호객행위 집중단속

강릉시는 경포해수욕장 개장일인 오는 6월 28일(토)부터 폐장일인 8월 17일(일)까지 여름철 성수기 동안, 경포해변 인근 식품접객업소를 대상으로 불법 호객행위 집중단속에 나선다.

Gangneung City will conduct intensive crackdowns on illegal solicitation by food service establishments near Gyeongpo Beach during the summer peak season, from the opening of the beach on Saturday, June 28, to its closing on Sunday, August 17.

이번 단속은 관광객의 불쾌감을 유발하고 지역 이미지에 부정적인 영향을 끼치는 무분별한 호객행위를 근절하고, 건전한 상거래 질서를 확립하기 위한 조치이다.

This initiative aims to eradicate aggressive solicitation practices that cause discomfort to tourists and negatively affect the city's image, while establishing sound commercial order.

주요 점검 사항은 ▲도로 및 인도 등에서 행인을 따라가며 호객하는 행위 ▲지나가는 차량과 행인에게 손짓, 몸짓, 말 등으로 손님을 꾀어 끌어들이는 행위 등이다.

Key inspection targets include: ▲soliciting pedestrians by following them on roads or sidewalks ▲luring customers by gesturing, signaling, or speaking to passersby or vehicles.

단속기간 동안에는 현장 중심의 점검과 계도 활동을 병행하며, 위반 사항 적발 시 관련 법령에 따라 행정처분 등을 실시할 예정이다.

During the enforcement period, on-site inspections will be conducted alongside guidance activities. Any violations will result in administrative actions according to applicable laws and regulations.

이와 함께, CCTV를 활용한 상시 모니터링을 통해 비노출 또는 시간 외 호객행위에 대해서도 지속적인 감시와 관리가 이루어진다.

In addition, continuous surveillance and monitoring will be carried out using CCTV to detect and manage solicitation activities that occur outside visible hours or locations.

선경순 위생과장은 “관광객들이 많이 방문하는 여름 해수욕장 개장 기간 중 집중단속반을 구성하여 호객행위근절에 힘쓰고 위반업소에 대하여 적극적으로 행정처분과 고발을 진행할 계획”이라며,

Seon Kyung-soon, Head of the Health and Sanitation Division, stated, “We will form an intensive inspection team during the summer beach season when many tourists visit and work hard to eradicate solicitation, while actively pursuing administrative penalties and legal action against violating businesses.”

“이번 단속을 통해 경포해변을 찾는 시민과 관광객 모두가 쾌적하고 안전한 환경에서 여름철을 즐길 수 있도록 최선을 다할 예정이다.”라고 밝혔다.
