강원특별자치도, 다문화 가족과 함께 제18회 세계인의 날 기념행사 개최

                                             多함께 꿈꾸고, 多같이 하나되는 강원”                                   

강원특별자치도(도지사 김진태)는 6월 20일(금) 오후 1시, 춘천 호반체육관에서 “多함께 꿈꾸고, 多같이 하나되는 강원”을 주제로 제18회 세계인의 날 기념행사를 개최했다.

On Friday, June 20 at 1 PM, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Jin-tae Kim) held the 18th Together Day celebration at Hoban Gymnasium in Chuncheon, under the theme “Dreaming Together, United as One in Gangwon.”

세계인의 날은 2007년 「재한외국인 처우 기본법」 제정에 따라 재한외국인이 서로의 문화와 전통을 존중하며 더불어 살아가는 사회를 조성하기 위해 매년 5월 20일로 지정된 법정기념일로, 2008년부터 올해 18회째를 맞고 있다.

Together Day is a legal commemorative day designated on May 20 each year following the enactment of the “Framework Act on Treatment of Foreigners Residing in Korea” in 2007. It aims to foster a society where foreign residents and Korean citizens respect one another’s cultures and traditions. This year marks the 18th celebration since its inception in 2008.

이날 행사에는 결혼이주여성과 자녀를 포함한 도내 다문화가족, 18개 시군 가족센터 종사자 등 800여 명이 참석했다.

Over 800 attendees—including multicultural families and marriage immigrants with their children, as well as staff from 18 municipal family centers—joined the event.

행사 구성 및 주요 프로그램

Event Composition and Main Programs

            김지태 지사/유공자 포상/기념 

기념행사는 1부 기념식과 2부 운동회로 진행되었다.

The event consisted of two parts: a commemorative ceremony followed by a sports festival.

1부 기념식은 춘천마임축제 프로젝트팀인 ‘마임시티즌’의 식전공연을 시작으로 유공자 포상과 이주여성의 강원정착기 발표 및 인제군 결혼이민자 동아리인 레인보우난타팀의 축하공연 등이 이어졌다.

Part 1 featured a pre-show by 'Mime Citizen' from the Chuncheon Mime Festival project team, followed by commendation of outstanding contributors, a presentation by a marriage immigrant sharing her experience settling in Gangwon, and a celebratory performance by the Rainbow Nanta team, a club of immigrant women in Inje County.

2부 행사는 내외국민이 다함께 즐기고 단합할 수 있는 바구니 탑쌓기, 줄다리기 등 단체체육 활동 중심의 운동회로 꾸며져 큰 호응을 얻었다.

In Part 2, participants—both Korean and foreign residents—enjoyed a sports day featuring team activities such as basket stacking and tug-of-war, promoting unity and shared fun.

부대행사로는 강원이주여성상담소, 강원여성새로일하기센터 등 5개 기관의 홍보부스가 로비에 마련되어 결혼이민자 및 외국인주민에게 필요한 상담과 정보를 제공하였다.

As side events, five promotional booths including those from the Gangwon Migrant Women’s Counseling Center and Gangwon Women’s New Employment Center offered consultations and information to foreign residents and marriage immigrants.

NH농협은행 강원본부의 ‘아침밥 먹기 캠페인’도 연계하여 진행되었다.

Additionally, NH NongHyup Bank’s Gangwon Branch hosted a “Breakfast Campaign” in connection with the event.

#김진태 강원특별자치도지사는 “여러분도 대한민국 국민이고 여러분이 낳은 아이들도 대한민국 국민”이라며,

Governor Kim Jin-tae stated, “You are all citizens of the Republic of Korea, and so are your children born here.”

“강원도에서 아이를 낳아 키우면 1억 원을 지원하고, 다자녀 혜택 기준도 기존 3명에서 2명으로 완화해 운영 중”이라며

“In Gangwon, we provide 100 million KRW in support to families for giving birth and raising children, and we’ve reduced the threshold for multi-child benefits from three to two children.”

“앞으로도 아이낳고 키우기 좋은 강원도를 만들어 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.

“We will continue working to make Gangwon a place where it’s easier and more rewarding to have and raise children.”
