강릉교육지원청, 전국 6개 시·도 교육복지사 연합 워크숍 개최

Gangneung Office of Education Hosts Joint Workshop for Education Welfare Workers from Six Cities and Provinces Nationwide

강릉교육지원청(교육장#김기현) 학생지원센터는 6월 18일(수)부터 20일(금)까지 3일간 강릉 세인트존스호텔에서 6개 시·도 교육지원청이 공동으로 주관하고 교육복지사 120여 명이 참여하는 연합 워크숍을 개최했다.

The Student Support Center of the Gangneung Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Ki-hyun) hosted a joint workshop from June 18 (Wed) to 20 (Fri) at the St. John's Hotel in Gangneung. Approximately 120 education welfare workers from six metropolitan and provincial offices of education participated in this collaborative event.

이번 행사는 교육복지우선지원사업과 학생맞춤통합지원의 연계 강화를 위해 2019년부터 매년 지역을 순회하며 열리고 있으며, 실무자 간 소통과 상호 학습을 통해 전국적인 교육복지 네트워크 강화를 목표로 한다.

The workshop, held annually in rotating regions since 2019, aims to reinforce connections between the Educational Welfare Priority Support Project and Customized Integrated Student Support. It fosters communication and mutual learning among frontline practitioners to build a robust nationwide education welfare network.

워크숍에 참여한 6개 교육지원청은 △강릉 △고양 △군산 △목포 △부여 △울산강남으로, 2023년 공식 업무협약을 체결한 이후 협약 사항을 꾸준히 실천하며 교육복지사 간 지속적 협업을 이어오고 있다.

The participating offices-Gangneung, Goyang, Gunsan, Mokpo, Buyeo, and Ulsan Gangnam-have been steadily fulfilling the terms of a formal agreement signed in 2023, continuing active cooperation among education welfare workers.

이번 워크숍에서는 △생성형 인공지능 챗GPT를 활용한 교육복지업무 혁신 △김민섭 작가의 ‘느슨한 연대’를 통한 따뜻한 교육복지 △시각장애를 극복한 개그맨 이동우의 감동 강연 등이 진행됐다.

Workshop sessions included: leveraging generative AI (ChatGPT) for innovation in education welfare services, a warm message on "Loose Solidarity" by author Min-seob Kim (featured on tvN’s You Quiz on the Block), and a moving story by visually impaired comedian Dong-woo Lee.

아울러 참가자들은 강릉의 해변을 거닐며 일선에서 소진된 심신을 재충전하는 치유 프로그램에도 참여했다.

Participants also took part in healing sessions by the Gangneung seaside, providing a moment of rest and restoration from the demands of frontline service.

김기현 교육장은 “이번 연합 워크숍이 전국적인 교육복지 협력 체계를 한층 강화하는 계기가 되기를 바란다”며 “현장의 어려움을 함께 고민하는 교육복지사들이 이번 기회를 통해 전문성과 내면을 함께 성장시키는 특별한 시간이 되었기를 기대한다”고 전했다.

Superintendent Kim Ki-hyun remarked, “I hope this joint workshop serves as a catalyst for strengthening the national education welfare network. I believe it has also been a meaningful time for our dedicated welfare workers to enhance their expertise and nurture themselves from within.”
